Duelist of the week 2!

Here we go again with the duelist of the week! Were here with KillingShadow from Dueling Network! I entered into a challonge.com tourney and he was my first match up using Vampires. He had a hard fought match and won, but he wanted me to show off his Dragunity deck. Here we go:

Killing Shadow's Dragunitys are based on using an ample amount of level six monsters to go off on combos and pushes. I find this build very innovative and most of his tech choices are unorthodox, but that is why he is the duelist of the week! Everyone topping, as this format concerns, are focused on using Dragon decks (mainly Dragunity and Dragon Ruler Plants). The decks in general are amazing this format and sees alot of play from top players. The thing I like about Dragons this format is that players do not focus on a central build, such as Killing Shadow's (creativity is all).

When he sent me his deck list I was puzzled about some cards, but let me explain his weird choices. He runs the Gustos for easy rank six plays when griffin is sent to the grave by using ravine, then he can make use of his Sages second effect! The second card choice I would like to go over is Black and White Wave. I think this card is just too good for removal in the deck... This card is a quick play Caius! Baby Roc is a nice addition to the deck by being discarded and being used to go for a big synchro monster. Shadow's Compulsory Escape Device is good for when he has his set up and want to go in for the kill.

The play style of this deck is very aggressive by using big monsters to go for an OTK! Shadow is a cool guy, very friendly, doesn't make too many misplays dueling, and a good sport. Shadow is currently building this deck in real life and when he does finish, I hope he tops at events with it. Overall he holds the characteristics and the deck for the Xtrazones Duelist of the week.
My "very short" duel against Shadow.
