Article: Don't Let That Game Get To You... SIDE DECK!

Hello fellow duelist! Yesterday, I was going against the Duelist of the week. He was playing his Vampires and I was playing my Chaos Dragons. We were in some tournament online that was for "competitive fun." He was my first match and I remember opening with a Mad Reloader, BLS, 2 lances, Ryko, and Chaos Sorcerer. I set Ryko and a Lance to intimidate the opponent, then, after I passed to Shadow,  He does his regular Vampire duties until Mainphase 2 when my REDMD was milled and went for his Crimson Knight Vampire Bram. I thought i was in the clear before he stole REDMD out of my grave.

I top decked a dark hole, while he had no back row and set up my play and went for game. Now here is the part where I made the mistake. Even though you win against somebody with a deck slower than yours or you just simply won easily because they opened bad, doesn't mean he will open bad next game or side against you. In yugioh, always be prepared for a side deck card that will just shut you down. I did not side at all, then he beats me twice in a row with a good opening during the last 2 games and had back row I had no answer to.

The Moral to this sad story is basically, DO NOT GET COCKY DURING A MATCH because more than likely you will be punished for your carelessness in the long run.

Before I end this article (they will be longer in the future), I would love to have as many people follow me and help me achieve my goals Yugioh wise, so I will work on the site and make it look epic for my followers! Catch you tomorrow with a deck guide and Play hard. Or go home! :-)
