Hello fellow duelist throughout the world! I would like to just tell you guys some things I had in mind.... I have only played competitive yugioh for about 4 or 5 formats and I consider myself as only a rookie player (being 14 as a freshman in high school). I know the ins and outs of yugioh, but not as well as someone like Billy Brake or Tyler Nolan. I do want to write for you guys and sound amazing, but acting like i'm a know-it-all is just cheesy.
I really want to write and compete for Alter Reality Games (ARG), but i'm only in high school:(. On the bright side, I have 4 years to make a portfolio of my work to show off to A.R.G. if I even get the shot to write and compete for them. I see most problems in bloggers in general that they give up when it takes a while to accumulate a fan base. Well... I will be consistent as possible with my post and even though nobody has commented, (wink, wink) that i have a good amount of people reading these and keeping up with my work (Thanks to those people).
Also, I recently was looking for a new deck to play and I came across an OCG Japan's National video. The duelist had original decks that were topping and the event was fun-looking and I barely saw misplays. Are OCG players better than TCG players? I didn't want to believe the idea, but it was original and creative decks topping. Not that the way we play our builds is not creative, trust me there's some innovative decks that centers around an archetype, but they played creatively and had fun. There was also diversity in the tournament with many different decks.
Those were just some things on my mind last night. Later, I will do a deck profile/quick guide on Gladiator Beast. Look out for Exo-lavi98 on DN and pm me for a duel! Follow the blog and thanks for reading!
